Bottom-Funnel Content Writer for B2B SaaS Teams
Hi, I’m Nathan,I plan and write content that helps B2B software companies target commercial keywords.
So you can rank on Google, earn AI citations, and drive pipeline from organic search.
Sound familiar?
If you run content at a B2B SaaS company…
You've likely run into these headaches.
That comparison page has been sitting in a Google Doc for six months.
You know it needs to exist. SMEs are busy, the brief keeps getting bumped, and nobody has the bandwidth to finish it.
Your content gets traffic, but it’s not moving buyers.
You have lots of top-funnel posts, but not enough content for people actually evaluating solutions. The pipeline numbers don’t reflect your content efforts.
Competitors are showing up in the searches buyers make right before they decide.
Your competitors rank for terms like [your brand] alternative and best [your category] software, but you are nowhere to be found.
B2B SaaS content programs rarely struggle with ideas. The gap is consistent execution at the bottom of the funnel.
Here's where I fit in.
Find the gaps
Your competitors are ranking for searches your buyers make every day. I identify exactly which opportunities are worth pursuing, and why.
Write the content
Comparison pages, alternatives roundups, buyer’s guides, product-led articles—content built for buyers who are one decision away.
Get it published
From brief to live URL, I handle the research, writing, and revisions—so you’re not project-managing another writer.
My process
How I create bottom-funnel content
A clear, repeatable process so you always know what’s happening and what’s next.
Spot the opportunity
Find the searches buyers make when they're actively evaluating solutions, not just learning. Review your ICP, competitors, sales calls, and win/loss data to build a shortlist of topics with real pipeline potential.
Understand what buyers need to decide
Dig into SERPs, AI answers, G2 reviews, Reddit threads, and competitor pages. The goal is to understand what's standing between your buyer and a decision.
Build the brief
Map the content goal, buyer stage, outline, conversion paths, proof points, and product angles before writing. Often overlooked but critical.
Write the draft
The first draft is built around how buyers make decisions. It includes comparisons, objection handling, product context, customer evidence, SME insights, and CTAs.
Optimize for search and AI
Title, headings, entities, internal links, structured comparisons, definitions, and citations. Content built to rank on Google and get cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
Review and finalize
SME review, product accuracy check, competitive review, editorial pass. You get a final draft that's ready to publish, not one that needs another round.
Publish, promote, and improve
Go live with proper metadata, tracking, and CTAs. Distribute to newsletter and sales. Then monitor rankings, AI citations, and pipeline contribution and refresh when the data says to.
